When you let the soil dry out completely, and then drench it to compensate, you disrupt this vital transport system.
To fix this, keep your soil consistently moist, like a wrung-out sponge, rather than letting it oscillate between bone-dry and mud.
Spread a thick layer of organic mulch, like straw or shredded leaves, to prevent rapid soil evaporation.
2. Blossom Drop: Flowers Falling Without Setting Fruit
It is deeply frustrating to watch healthy yellow-white blossoms simply snap off the stem and fall to the ground.

3. Yellowing Leaves: The Slow Fade of Nitrogen Deficiency

If you smoke or use tobacco products, you can easily transmit the virus from your hands to your pepper plants.
Always wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap before working in your garden.
Pull up infected plants immediately, bag them, and throw them in the trash to prevent the virus from spreading to the rest of your nightshades.
